What about the 3rd option, going down and nothing changes it carries on getting worse?

What did the JV and the supporters club expect though??

They may well have approved the contractor.

Probably just lobbed the money over the fence in brown paper bags as requested though.

Was it Northampton where a load of money (£10m+) ‘disappeared’ when they were building a new stand that meant it was never finished? That’s probably what this mob have in mind….

Who would take going down if it meant Morfuni and clan were gone? I know I would

Probably because going down seems inevitable if he stays anyway, so we just start the recovery sooner.

No as the NL is very hard to get out of and could be years before we get back if ever.

Not gonna happen though as Clem and co aren't going anywhere and our fanbase do not have the gumption to force their hands

Surely plans must have been drawn up with what was going to be done ?
I've been in Legends once since it was redone and that was a couple of months ago and to me it didn't look as if much thought and design went into it, just a bit of a crap paint job and new tables, celling (who uses black in an already darkened room)

The only silver lining I can put on our inevitable relegation is the few teams that seemed to rebuild in the National League(s) and come back stronger. Mainly looking at sides like Stockport who have some real momentum behind them and we have much bigger potential than a side like that (no disrespect to them, of course).

Does make it worse seeing how well Oxford are being run, with their shiny new stadium on the way.

I've got an argument to that

York City, Barnet, Oldham, Rochdale, Yeovil, Halifax (reborn), Dagenham, Sutton, Southend, Hartlepool, Aldershot.

Are we bigger than them? Yes probably.
Are we better run/at an advantage over them? Not obviously.

Maybe it will force Clem out and we get a better owner and thrive. Maybe we'll just tag on the end of that list and Clem carries on even longer as costs are slashed and losses reduced.

I know its all obvious stuff and I know you probably wouldn't disagree. The risk it just too high for me.

The one benefit we'd have over pretty much all of those clubs is that we have far bigger potential. A large town, decent attendances in recent history, and a near 15k capacity stadium with potential for development. If it wasn't for the people lurking int he shadows there's plenty of potential.

That said, I absolutely wouldn't want to take the risk of having to rebuild and win promotion back to the FL. We can, theoretically, rebuild from where we are if changes can be forced behind the scenes.
