The Champagne will go off before that happens. We live in hope. I still maintain we are an attractive club to takeover however we have one hurdle this lot moving aside. Detest everyone of them.
Agreed. The last playoff season showed that. 10,000 plus most weeks, had we of gone up most game in league one would have been a sell out with the improved away support. This town needs a decent football club, it has nothing else. This town is ready to support a well run proper football club, the potential is enormous. Makes me detest this lot even more. It’s getting serious now and change is required a lot sooner rather than later. I still live in hope that this will flip one day, and our fortunes will improve. Just don’t know how much shit we will have to go through first

We’ve spent enough of last 25 years in League One to know full well we wouldn’t sell out every week.

And we didn’t have 10k most weeks either, in fact it was 8 times out of 23 and they were mostly at the end of the season when it looked like the playoffs were possible. The same was true in the Di Canio season, it was only the last few games (derbies apart) where we got over 10k

The paint on the floor in the legends lounge is already peeling apparently. I heard that Zav Austin was given the contract to do the work and they used wall paint on the floor to cut corners.
No clue if its true or someone was pulling my plonker.

Surely that's rubbish though. Can't see even Clem doing that.

Reminds me of the Only Fools and Horses episode where they paint the Chinese takeaway with British Rail glow in the dark tunnel paint

Who would take going down if it meant Morfuni and clan were gone? I know I would

Nope. Don't know if we would come back. That's my reason.

Hartlepool sitting in 16th in the National League feels like a bit like a warning. Southend just above them, both teams we've spent a lot of time around over the years.
But if they were absolutely gone with no hangers on and associated ties? Maybe. It feels like our last three owners have all been a bit crossed over with McCrory having Power around, then Power having Morfuni and Austin around.

What about the 3rd option, going down and nothing changes?
