No chance he's writing off debts. He misspoke.
I don't have a problem with recovering his cash. Assuming he genuinely put the cash in..
This.

Probably not his money to write off. It’s abundantly clear he’s never had £m’s to sink into the club so the big question is where the cash has come from…
As others have intimated I still think he’s just a front man for others…

Calculating the ‘buying price’, technically isn’t that difficult. A+B +C = D thank you very much, here’s my cheque. However, it’s the dark side that is making this impossible. Clem saying it’s A+B etc doesn’t mean it is.
Until full disclosure, and I mean full, is available honest reliable investment is doubtful.
I was advised to turn the opportunity down and so have a number of others.
It’s simple, full disclosure = a sale.

The club is worth what the stadium is worth minus all the debt I guess so probably nothing
If he gets a £1 offer with a payment plan to pay off the debt, he should really snap their hands off. But unfortunately as mentioned the club value is likely less than the debt to Clem now. If its over a longer period of time it might be more agreeable for someone to take it as the extra can almost be considered interest.

Thought possibly Michael Standing but he may have come out the woodwork after the Power vs Standing debacle if it was. Adam Hart an Tyson Furys mate would be another candidate given what he's being investigated for in boxing and Zav Austins history. I'll stop shy of saying anymore as don't want the forum in trouble.

Will the hangers on leave or will they try to stick around, is how I've taken that.

Nice theories and speculation but that doesn't really get us very far . seems like no one has any real idea as to who is in the current consortium .

Bit random but I was listening to the Loathed Strangers Podcast pre Carlisle and there was a Carlisle fan talking about how things were going. Clearly on the field they are not good, but off the pitch since they got taken over about a year ago they've installed executive boxes and built a fanzone. They've put £4 million quid into the stadium and the same into their training facilities.
Unfortunately our owners just don't have the same financial muscle Unfortunately so we'll have to make do with the very minor things they've implemented so far.

A new shop sign that took months and a fence outside of it.
and a club that is on the verge of slipping out of the league.

And the ticket booths have disappeared inside the DRS. Is this the development?!

I’m not sure anyone can get in trouble by pointing out the fact that we have: * several individuals with convictions for financial crimes involved in an unofficial / undisclosed capacity at the club. * a club that consistently loses money, with no apparent, credible incentive for those people to keep funding the club. * that any individual (*obviously* not anyone near here) who want to launder money, would need a company to pass that money through. If that company consistently makes a loss and needs lump sum payments to keep it going, then those payments might be easier to hide than otherwise. These are three separate, unrelated, factual points.
