Would strongly argue the attempt to play the ball makes it a yellow. He got a decent touch on the ball. |

The rugby tackle before the ball is the issue. Penalty and a red all day for me. |

Just seen the Bristol City sending off. Correct call imo - dragged him down, no attempt to play ball - red under DOGSO.
What I will say is that it happens quite a bit from corners without punishment, and we have had a couple of penalties that have been charitably seen yellows when imo no attempt to play the ball is made.
