On another subject, looks like we don't have to worry about Jonny Williams getting injured with Wales. Not kicked a ball in 270 minutes!

If Manny Egbo does indeed sign a new contract surely we need a ditty for him. 'I am the Walrus' was swimming around my head whilst travelling on the Lizzy Line yesterday and surely is the ideal song to belt out a homage to him. Something like

'He is the Egbo
He is the Egbo
Oh Manny Egbo

goo goo j'oob' (Repeat x4)

Surely nice and easy to get going?

In the EFL's official retained list, Egbo is showing concurrently as contracted for next season and out of contract + offered reengagement. Hoping it's the former rather than the latter!

Curiously on page 111 in the free transfer section Dabre, Payne and Jojo appear with no contract offers next to their names. I thought the club announced these guys had been offered new contracts?

Can see the likes of Dabre and Aguiar getting a lot of game time next season.

I’d say he’s basing it off the fact we’ve just given our number 2 the job, after 5 weeks of trying to get others, but chances are we couldn’t get them due to £ being offered, which probably gives him the sense we won’t be making many big moves in the window money wise.

Also, even though it’s a fairly injury prone squad- don’t be expecting a much bigger squad this season. Will be the bare minimum once more I think. Quality > Quanity I prefer…. as long as we have more than enough quality 😂
