A Nuffield Health site now I believe with a gated community where the away terrace was. Used to live over the road during their glory years in the mid 80's. Turned them over in the AMC which was fun. |

We played there in 1995 not long before the Walker Cup, and I was 1 under after 4 holes.
Then the wind got up a bit (nothing like today) and it became a really hard course.
Nice to watch professional golfers playing a course in properly hard links weather.

I went there on holiday a couple of times as a child. Happy memories on Coney Beach and going on the fun fair rides in the evening. |
