Heineken 0.0% beer or lager if you prefer to call it that. An exceptional taste for something without alcohol. About 70 calories per 330ml.

There was a time when suggesting the diet version of anything would make you a laughing stock around these parts...

Heineken is hardly a beer for the purists when it has some alcohol in it, no idea why you would choose to drink a non-alcoholic version of the thing, just drink something that tastes nice.

I must admit, I've never felt the need when driving. I'd always rather have soda water and lime that a low alcohol or no alcohol beer. If I tasted that stuff I just wanted (or would be tempted by) a proper beer.

Until recently, I would have laughed at the prospect of drinking a non alcohol beer/lager. I hadn't had one since the local shop used to sell Barbican to us on the way to junior school.
However, I am not afraid to say that there has been the odd evening where I have had a can of 0% Heineken rather than another can of diet coke.

This does taste nice. Because I drive for a living, I’m on a low carb diet to tackle type 2, I’ve made a concerted effort since January to cut my alcohol intake and have succeeded handsomely with will power, Heineken 0.0% and the pubs being closed. I can drink this whilst working in the garden and not pissed or dehydrated. That should cover your question.

I wouldn’t buy this in a pub if I was out and had to drive that’s for certain.

Diet drinks are off the menu, back to full fat in moderation.

Good for you. Heineken 0.0 on tap is great.

I drive for a living too and purchased some Stella 0% alcohol lager at a self service checkout. The damn machine made me wait for authorisation as it was a ‘Challenge 25’ product. When I politely asked the assistant why this was necessary, “because it’s alcohol sir”. Theres more alcohol in a loaf of bread!

Don’t see it often - hopefully it’ll become more of a normal thing.

Due to mrs bogus being pregnant we’ve had quite a few non alcoholic beverages around in the last few months. Agree completely that Heineken appears to be the best of the beers, although did have a Brooklyn lager that was very nice. Becks blue tastes like piss
All alcohol free fruit ciders taste exactly like their alcoholic equivalents. Alcohol free wine tastes like vinegar and I don’t understand how it’s allowed to be sold
