If I remember rightly that when the new 20p came out it never had dates on, and they were 'selling ' for thousands of pounds? [/quote
Yerp.
And people who haven't realised the crest thing obviously don't work in a job where you handle change all day. Lucky you.

Feeling like a bit of a hero after my 12 mile run this morning. Slow but steady, that's me.

If my calculations are correct, when this baby hits 88 miles per hour, you're gonna see some serious shit...

I've been averaging 10 mins/mile so far in training, but today it was more like 10½ mins/mile (or 4 hrs 35 mins marathon pace). My best marathon time was 4 hrs 31 mins, but that was 11 years ago. I'd quite like to beat that this time around.

My second run since October and post hernia op today. Not far, only just over 7k but at a faster pace than before apparently (5.40 min per KM). I am now sporting lycra running tights. I always said if I was going to do anything that meant I had to wear lycra I would need to take a long hard look at myself. Ive had a long hard look at myself and I look fantastic.

It's all about the tights....
10 min miles aren't bad. Not bad at all really.

That's very good for a second run in several months. Not sure you should be going hard looking at yourself in tights, but who am I to judge.

That's a good training pace, well done. I did/do a lot of heart rate training which included slowing my pace right down to beyond 11 min/miles. Sax - evidence/Pics ?? On second thoughts

On second thoughts Due to popular demand there is a picture on facebook. However Im not hard in it. And as a matter of modesty there are always shorts over the tights. Thong underneath obviously.

Sadly for you, she's just given birth and it's going to be about 5½ years before she lets you anywhere near them.

Thanks. I'm doing everything not by the book, I have to admit. I should really be varying the pace a bit, using technology like you were and probably going out more often than twice a week...but not doing any of those. I just want to get round in one piece really, with a small improvement to my best time as a bonus.
