I noticed that Villa only have 4 players over the age of 30 and two are goalkeepers. A few signed from lower leagues and others via their academy... I don't think I'd be disappointed if we followed that approach.
Have a lot of respect for the job Lambert is doing there. Think it will really bear fruit next year. Good to see their approach rewarded with QPR's mad money splurge failing horribly by contrast. 6-1  . So much for Di Canio's ability to organise defences. Absolutely dismantled tonight. |
