Yeah, loads! The headteacher's son is in my class and has a Kindle Fire, but otherwise they're all on paperbacks.
Favouritism 'innit. Disgusting... Kids do still read a tonne of books. All the talk of 'next generation teaching', pupils getting ipads to work on and stuff is all very well, but they're often the exception rather than the rule. When I was in my last year of school about 4 years ago we'd only just got projectors in every classroom. It's crazy how quickly things have changed, and the amount of money that is having to pour in to keep things 'up to date'. At least if you buy books you don't have to worry about compatibility issues a year on...

Many years ago I was going to an audit in Salisbury and was "swooped" by a Fairchild a-10. Just found out a few facts about the a-10. Each round is 11 inches long weighing 1.5lbs, and the gun fires 70 rounds a second, with the rounds travelling at 230ft per second. The gun itself is 19ft long and weighs nearly 2 tonnes

It remains the only jet aircraft built around a gun. It's also got triple redundancies built into each system. In air combat trials, the use of the gun, and the low speed handling of the aircraft meant every dogfight resulted in a warthog victory. When I spoke to an ex pilot who flew in Iraq, he said all he had to do was let off ten or so rounds near Iraqi footsoldiers (not even trying to hit them), and 9/10 times they'd just turn and run. It really is some aircraft.

What a bunch of cowards, running merely because someone was firing a big gun in their general direction.

Just 11 points currently separating the teams in the playoffs and the relegation zone in The Championship.
Forest in 6th on 68 points and Huddersfield in 22nd on 57 points.
Crazy league this year.

Brighton set to face Palace in the playoffs. Mental. Can't imagine us playing Oxford in such important games.

Dean Saunders has done a great job at Wolves. I bet Donny fans are laughing at him.

Getting a ticket for tomorrows game from a member of the TEF. You know who you are - thank you. My daughter and mate also managed to get one of the sponsors returns. Can't wait for tomorrow.

Dortmund receiving over 500,000 ticket applications for Wembley Makes me wish i had applied for that ballot you can do over here for tickets. My mate got one 2 years ago and flogged it to a Man Utd fan for about £2.5k
