Ha ha.  This could be the first proper rant as Sunderland manager where he lays into specific players.

What makes you think he won't hold his hands up and admit that it was his tactics or the fact he picked the wrong team/formation? soapy tit wank

Good to hear the original chant of 'Sit Down Di Canio' is still going strong.

Looking forward to the interviews.

Although wouldn't be surprised if he keeps them in the dressing room for so long that he doesn't make the end if the show.

Much as I'm finding this amusing, should we draw any link between the fact some of our current playing squad are commenting on it in a "...which would not happen under our present soft-touch of a gaffer" kind of a way and our apparent loss of form?

I think there's some clear blue water between PDC and a soft touch, which most managers operate in.

For me the Sunderland players should be in at 6am the next day after such a bad performance.

Football players feel so hard done by nowadays. They should be made to work for their money.

Fair point, I was being a bit facetious

I noticed that Villa only have 4 players over the age of 30 and two are goalkeepers. A few signed from lower leagues and others via their academy... I don't think I'd be disappointed if we followed that approach.
