BBC Sport ''Football'' site reverting to a scaled down version, similar to sports with less national and global interest.
Feels a bit deprecated. There's no instant access or quick look at the tables and fixtures on the landing page {on the right hand column} any more.
Also, they've removed any match data from the full league tables for some time now. You used to be able to hover the cursor over the last 'X' WDL results and see what the result and team they played. Each 'W', 'D', 'L' contained a hyperlink that would take you straight to a match report for said result.
It feels a bit like I'm viewing a stock Wix page, rather than a professional broadcasting companies website. Those previous layout options and quicker routes were much more efficient when wanting the content overview.
I understand it for something like Snooker or Tennis, where you don't have as much of a league table, as most things have tournament prominence and particular times of the year but for the perceived bigger/more popular sports, it seems odd to remove such good accessibility.
I get it from a consistency POV, across all site pages but it's got less better and more wank overall.
Trivial rant over.
