After watching international football for decades I’ve just realised I have no recollection of ever recognising the Italian anthem before.

Plus, the number of players, not just football, that still sing God Save the Queen.

Hopefully no one is still singing that...

Presume because they believed every lie he told and yet a journalist found out the truth.

I don't think that's strictly correct, the government do give a shit at the moment as stirring up shit about it is pretty much all they seem to have left to talk about.

There’s something ‘off’ about Rishi Sunak - not just because of him being a useless Tory PM - but as a person. I can’t put my finger on it.

The fact that he is an incredibly wealthy incredibly short man who seems entirely unable to get hold of trousers which are long enough for him intrigues me.

Oh and plus for a man who doesn't seem to have any sort of political aims or objectives and has the apparent passion of a wet fish, I am not sure why a bloke worth that sort of cash wants the hassle and ball ache of being prime minister (note this may be something of a rhetorical question...)

Very few MPs these days have ever had a ‘proper’ job. At least 2 Jags worked in the Merchant Navy.

You’re right, though. With his wealth why bother.

Not wanting to go into the what's and wherefores of who did it, but the whole reporting/analysis of this missile incident in Gaza just looks odd.

The suggestion seems to be that something happened (missile strike/missile malfunction) in the hospital courtyard which was full of people seeking shelter hence the death toll being so horrific, the media seem to be basing their reporting on what the Israeli govt/IDF are saying vs. what Hamas are saying plus using all manner on analytical techniques to speculate what is going on, what none of them (as far as I have seen) seem to have done is simply ask someone who was in the courtyard what actually happened, was there a missile launching or not??

I think the Israeli government take on things is not a launch from the courtyard but a Hamas missile failure causing a 'drop short' into the courtyard.
