Yet again turn up at the ticket office to find it shut.

I know these things change like a whore's knickers but it seems you picked the only day of the week (Sunday aside) where it's closed.

I just don’t understand why it changes so often. Used to be Mondays.

I wasn’t the only one turning up then turning round and leaving.

Because they don't have enough staff to cover the entire week, so likely choose the most cost effective opening times for the resources available to them.  Anyway, you are old enough to remember Wednesday being a half day at least.

Afternoon, not morning!

Whatever staffing level they have why not just stick to the same day shut.

My own, very limited, personal experience from my last three visits back to Blighty is that the place resembles a Jumble Sale (operationally).  That may be unfair, I am not saying they are not trying the hardest to do a good job, but it just seems very Village Hall.  So I can't disagree with you Aud.

What are you after Aud? If it's tickets, then it's a piece of piss online.

I think he's had a lot of issues online recently. (tickets wise)

I was in town anyway so popped in to get my brother a ticket.

I’ve downloaded one now - so I’m really just having an old git’s moan.

Well, Mrs Audrey wanted knickers from M&S in Orbital so bypassed the town as such.

The town centre deserves all the bad press it gets but the environs round and about aren’t that bad.

Orbital is fine even if a little out of your way but the Town centre is somewhere to avoid if at all possible.
Tell Mrs Aud that M&S orbital is going to be extended next year as they have purchased the shop next door.

It would actually be interesting to see a split of what is sold online v. in store in terms of both merch and ticketing as I would assume using this information is why the club have decided to staff (or not) the shop?

Whilst we are moaning about ticketing however, 25 fucking quid to go and see us play at Morecambe!

Are people, generally, much more stupid nowadays?

I don’t really mean doing stupid stuff but of low intelligence.
