It was as if 'being an absolute tossbag' was a pre-requisite for some of the blokes there, like a low budget episode of the Apprentice. Not to mention the unrealistic, hell-like tasks. Won't be rushing to do another one.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-manchester-22707261Politicians being sanctimonious fucks about who sponsors a football club. If Payday lending is reprehensible and shouldn't be legitimised (which I don't doubt) ban it, you are after all, elected to do these things. Don't lecture a football club on who's money they should and shouldn't be accepting if you're not doing anything about it.

Umbrellas in general - wear a fucking coat, cunt.
In 2008 I bought a Macbook on finance from PC World. I finished paying it off at £27 a month over 48 months and was too ashamed to do the maths until now, I feel like a mug 5 years on

I have to say that I am fully in agreement with the umbrellas in general comment. Why do people who have umbrellas up put it at such an angle that they can't fucking see where they are going. A few spots of rain aren't going to kill you! The beauty of water, it that it has this unnerring quality of drying off after a while.

Was due to see a client at 4pm, but my car's currently in the corner of the car park blocked in by about 15 cars.

His late night phone in in the late 1980s was compulsive listening. Not really sure why, but it was. Everyone in my year at school seemed to listen.
I remember listening every night too. Always wondered what happened to him, as I left the area, and never heard him/of him again.

Probably even longer than that. I stopped using it in 2010 because it didn't work without mains power and I couldn't be bothered to fork out for a new battery.

Did you also buy the extended warranty? Or PPI?
I worked at Currys when I was 17, I feel a degree of vicarious responsibility here. Sorry. If it helps, the poor fuck who sold it to you probably got a fiver or so bonus from that transaction.

I don't think so. It was a stupid impulse purchase when I was living at home and earning my first decent wage. The worst of all is that I could probably have paid for it up front if I'd waited for payday

If you still have the documentation it might be worth checking for PPI, DSG had a nasty habit of putting it in without telling you about it.
