Went to Lacock Abbey yesterday. It was heaving because the local school had a scarecrow trail on. The last space in the car park was taken up by an elderly couple having a picnic next to their car. They really didn't want to move a few feet to behind their car. "We go to a National Trust property every week and always picnic like this" was their justification.
I bet they were fucking retired too. Have all week to go out and go out on a saturday. Fuck off

They're old, they've earnt the right to be annoying cunts. When I retire I'm going to be as difficult as possible to as many people as I can (I've been practising for years).

Gary Vincent. Once a mainstay of Swindon local radio (GWR FM) and now a name on Magic FM. I'm really not convinced that that's his real name. Sounds like a bit of a radio name to me.
And what ever happened to Dave Barrett?

Didn't he get sacked from GWR for something involving his boyfriend? http://www.davebarrett.com/radio-tv-career/

His late night phone in in the late 1980s was compulsive listening. Not really sure why, but it was. Everyone in my year at school seemed to listen.

I think he left GWR after his boyfriend killed himself, or at least that's what my hazy memory tells me. I remember another rumour doing the rounds at our school that he was suspended for an April Fool's prank about a planet or comet or something being visible that night, which led to a kid climbing onto his roof, from which he subsequently fell and died.
I remember being too scared to get up and turn the radio off in the dark when he did one of his paranormal shows. I must have been a right little puss.

The Kembrey. Food was Ok but the service was absolute gash and it wasn't anywhere near full, not surprising. Loads of people pissed off.

falling in reverse are fucking awful at the best of times, the singer is a complete arse, and their usual music is turd pop-hardcore rock but this is just fucking shocking. I keep thinking he's lost a bet or something, to go all hip-hop-ish (or a pop-hardcore rock singer's idea of hip hop) and doing shit like ghost-riding a ferrari, jesus. awful. absolute turd.

That is awful. The mother said it fell down the toilet when she gave birth, but she must have actually flushed it away? I'm surprised it didn't drown.
