There's this motorcyclist I follow home from work regularly. Well, I say motorcyclist, he rides a twist-and-go. He likes to tailgate (I'm talking less than 3 feet from the car in front), overtake in completely moronic situations, undertake at junctions & roundabouts and generally rides like a complete cock.
Every day I see him I hope that he actually gets stuck next to me at a set of lights just so that I can tell him to wind his neck in. I swear that one of these days I'm going to come across him led in a ditch/under a car/plastered all over the road.

Those Kevin Bacon adverts for that EE thing. I am also disappointed with Hodgson's post match interview I wanted a PDC style rant.

That's quite an accusation. The guard was the person who gave the signal for the train to move off, which unfortunately for him means he is culpable.

She was drunk and drugged up, while tragic it's completely her own fault. My mum does the same job and works a lot of late shifts, could quite easily happen on one of her trains so it annoys me a lot.

Totally agree with you. It's always someone else's fault when these kids die and they're always angels. The parents need to take some responsibility and not deflect the blame on to other people in these situations!

Correct, but not of manslaughter in my view. I think the statement by her mother of her being just a normal teenager at the weekend.....pissed and high a little sad and typical...course she is full of grief and anger and maybe i would blame the guard if it was my daughter.....but a prison sentence...shocking. This was a tragic accident and lessons should be learned rather than the emphasis on blame and punishment.

Surely his job is to stop this exact thing from happening?

If the guard had to physicly stop everone who is drunk from danger then a train would never leave....some trains are packed with pissed up footy fans at times, what does he do run up and down the platform checking each one?...its only luck that more deaths do not occur. The guard made a judgement...it was the wrong judgement and the court agrees it was. But a prison sentence is not the answer in my view....as i say it was a tragic accident.

She was the only one on the platform and leaning against the train.

Luxembourg section. It was only 10 Euro. So much for the famous Tartan Army, didn't hear a peep from them the whole game! Although the pubs before the game were bouncing so they were maybe too pissed (or cold) to sing at the game.

He told the court she was moving away from the train when he gave the signal for it to depart.

Well that could change things a bit. There was CCTV footage there, no doubt the court will be looking at that.
