New iPad ordered €355. Could have done without that.
Are they that good at blocking 3rd party repair that a replacement screen is out of the question? |

Ah, amazed mine hasn’t broken yet. Replying on an iPad 2 air, must have had it 8 ish years at a guess, dropped it dozens of times, on my 4th cheap amazon cover, still going strong apart from the volume up button.

12.4 apparently. Actually in the last year certain apps have dropped off the supported list. I think I turned off auto IOS updates originally after the stuff about Apple (and others) deliberately slowing down devices. Did recently try to update the IOS to 15.7.1? It tries every night between 2.00 and 6.00, am notified that it failed on a daily basis! Is there a work around? |
