Swindon is a great place to be but the town centre doesn't do justice to what it has to offer.

Move away for a prolonged period and then take a trip back.  It really has very little going for it.  Old Town area is nice, Outlet/Steam is decent and housing is relatively affordable in comparison to job opportunities within a commutable distance.  After that, it gets grubby pretty quickly.

Step daughter is obsessed with it, i tasted some and it’s a standard energy drink.

Obviously it’s all about being seen with a bottle though, just the way of the world for teenagers really.

Ultimately the scenes this week are no different to back in the day when people rushed to get the latest Xmas toy, iPhone, games console as soon as they went on sale

Granted but those things probably (certainly in my case anyway) lasted years and got a lot of use.
My Nintendo 64 is 26 years old and still going strong.

…it’s a sodding drink that you drink once and that’s it, gone, done, finished.

Why does it feel like a Sunday?

Does anybody actually find Mrs Browne’s Boys even faintly amusing?

Coming down with a bug, but still heading out for a NYE disco - God knows the last time I went to one of them. Is the male protocol still the same?

It definitely feels like a Sunday made worse by today's weather where it's been wi day and pissing down all day. I can't stand Mrs Browns boys but each to their own as I guess many do enjoy the humour.

You best dig your flares out of the wardrobe if you're going to a disco😀

Enjoy but go easy on the booze😀

Wasn't really sure where to put this, things take a rather unexpected turn early on.

Good on the guy for the way he is dealing with it, albeit it is all a bit Partridge.
