I assume the rule is that you can't be contracted to more than 2 clubs, rather than play for more than 2 clubs, given he made no appearances for us? |

Christ alive, I had literally forgotten about the cup competitions! Probably for the best given how we played in them. Rollback to when people were bending over backwards not to include them in Scott Lindseys win rate to cling on to some hope that he might not be useless. |

Pretty much yeah. TBH what came out of that presser was one bloke who has had a lot of media training and one who hasn't.
Honestly, I'm not really that annoyed by him or anything - this is the first bit of any interview with him I have listened to. However, his job for a number of years was Head of PR for SkyBet - which included doing TV slots, podcasts and hobnobbing. He has plenty of experience of speaking publicly. |

Iandolo is now on his 10th Swindon permanent manager (yes 10th!) and TBH the only one season he even looked like a half decent footballer was under Garner.
I am not sure he has it in him but would love to eat my own words.
As you say, clean slate now for every player and some may surprise.
Iandolo probably did peak under Garner. He managed a number of assists last year and seemed to have picked up a number of fans here (beyond his parents or gf). But for me he is certainly a half decent footballer. This season, he has slipped back into negative ratings territory. Perhaps there is a little disappointment he hasn't overcome some of his weaknesses and demanded a first team post. Whatever. He has been a utility player and a squad player who has consistently slotted in when called upon and, if not always as attractive as the individual he replaces, his presence has nearly always at least maintained a solidity within the matchday team put out. L2 STFC - and most of those 10 managers - have been extremely fortunate to have such an adaptable - and valuable - club servant on board. |

In the previous 7 seasons he's made 116 league appearances for Swindon over 7.5 seasons. And that includes sub appearances. 15.5 a season average.
This season, he started injured again.
Last season was his only full season, 41+5, it really benefited him.
Not his fault. He's been here a long time but he's hardly more than bit part apart from last year.
