As Aud says, I also read it that something we were responsible for didn't happen, oopsies.

Maybe they were too busy trying to get the drone started!

I read that as we didn't announce the signing last night as expected and it has since been confirmed that the move is off.

hmmm, it's a little ambiguous to be fair. I assumed the official announcement was some kind of confirmation paperwork or something rather than some blurb on our website, but I can also see it being read the way you put it.

Who the fark knows, he ain't here is the bottom line. Hardly surprising given that our admin appear to move with glacial speed.

The original story says both clubs failed to get paperwork in.

Not one of the articles say it’s down to Swindon.

To be fair, other clubs to have fucked up a move with bad admin this window include the not-exactly-under resourced Chelsea and PSG (Ziyech) and in the past famously De Gea didn't move from Manchester United to Real Madrid because of a broken fax machine. These things just happen in football because the system is batshit and sometimes things go wrong.

Won't help the kid though, hope Spurs do right by him and don't cast him out as the move fell through by no fault of his.

It looks like Baillie Coupland who is the Academy Operations Manager is the interim secretary, possibly covering 2 roles while they find a replacement?

From the Adver "I know this won't be new information to a lot of people, but I have now seen Lewis Ward at the club twice in the past two days.

Led to believe he's training with the club after his release from Sutton."

It's true he can't sign or play for another club this season other than us so he is training with us
The club will only probably re-sign him if Brynn has a major injury

Watching the official long version of the press conference, the most interesting thing was the piece about having uncomfortable conversations with a few players who wanted to leave.

Were the uncomfortable conversations not with players we were letting go/selling?
