I drove through there on the way from Edinburgh to Ayr once, it was shut.

I have been to every major Town and City in Scotland at some point, excluding anything further north than Inverness.

As you know I spent about 4 months in Scotland while the mother in law had cancer and every summer I go up there as my best mate lives in Perth so Scotland being small we had a lot of spare time so went and drove everywhere Smiley

I thought I would have a read what Aberdeen fans thought about Aberdeen Angus transfer.

https://afc-chat.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/46491-angus-macdonald/

Talk about having a Narcissistic personality disorder, you are fucking Aberdeen not Mancity or even Celtic or Rangers.

I get it tbh. Even if you assume the pinnacle season for a non-Celtic/Rangers side is third in the SPL, Angus Mac is not the sort of mouthwatering signing to get you there.

Depends on how they play, if they just need him to defend crosses and mark a zone then he should be fine.

You’re assuming he’s going to be in the line up every match day? The acquisition may be as a back up impact sub to defend a lead.

Just wondering if Town lodged an appeal on either one of the transfer targets that were said to be pretty much done on Deadline Day? Especially the Spursy lad...can't think if his name (probably double barrelled).

Highlighting this as I noticed Blackburn have done such a thing with their proposed loan of a player from Forest which didn't go through in time.

Surely if they have 'mitigating circumstances' then Town could also appeal this to still get the Spurs lad no? After all, he was already training with Town.

Apparently, the cut off is tomorrow* in terms of appeals.

*This is SkySports commentator knowledge though so could have the odd half truth in there, coupled with beefing up/glamourising the story

All of them decent players but I guess it depends on how much is left in the wage budget, which I would guess is pretty stretched currently.

Which seems odd given the outgoings that happened in Jan compared to incomings.

But also the possible reason Brand not confirmed yet?

Not sure about Brand as the coaching budget is different from the player budget.

But it could explain Fagan-Walcott and Corbett not signing as we needed "1 out" and "1 in" to balance the wage books?

I dont know but that was my thought.

Quite ambitious but none of them are youngsters.  Probably wouldn’t be up to full fitness and pace would be an issue,  however, experience may well compensate for that.

What happened with Ward in the end? Seems to have gone a bit quiet. Is he still training with us or have we let him go?
