Having a look on their OS the Youth/U23 coach at Brighton is Simon Rusk, a player who was a youth at Peterborough when Power played for them and Power ended his career at Bostonin 2001 the season that Rusk started his career at Boston.

That could well be the link.

Talking of Simon Rusk, apprently hes favourite for the Cambridge job to replace Calderwood!

That plus the Williams ties could well be it, Williams had obviously left way before we go Alzate in on loan.

One of my brothers watches Thatcham where he was at, and said he really needs to up his game if he's going to make it as a pro.

Sounds like Joe Romansksi is doing well at Melksham and they're having an absolutely storming run at the moment...

Sounds self defeating and to be honest pretty stupid to me, turn down chances to play and prove yourself at a higher level in favour of staying in southern league division 1. Thatíll be him released in the summer then as heís clearly one of the ones Wellens was annoyed with about loan moves.

Unfortunately stinks of "Fear of failure" for Joe. A shame but at Melksham he'll been seen as a big fish in a small pond. He'll probably enjoy that, especially while on a pro wage. Likely be too late to realise it was the wrong decision when the penny drops.

My mantra is to always push yourself and it should never be a piece of piss. It's all relative though, if he's comfortable with that then fair enough. Shame though, it's a privileged position to be in and you'd like to think he would make the most of it. Hope he doesn't regret it when he looks back.
