Dougie did sound genuine.
But then I've been fooled before.

Exactly. I think most accepted relegation was inevitable but to hear the likes of Paul fucking Hart not give a shit is not pleasant.
On another note, please can the board ensure Dougie is here next year? He genuinely wants to stay so hope they don't fuck this one up and lose him. Especially as he's now found his shooting boots!

He has a wage reduction clause built into his contract on relegation. I don't think he'll stay but it's not out of the question.

If that's true then surely it's down to the player?

With due respect if you have been watching that shite week in and week out and then have to listen to that utter cretin on the radio, you'd be pissed off too and it wouldn't be down to poor judgement. i gave up on it months ago.it's all become a bit meh.so it aint upsetting me as much as alot of you. not having a go by the way.but it is only a game after all,a hobby. the hatred and bitterness this season has brought is ott imo. Our judgement of Hart has been spot on.
some of it has been spot on,some of it has not. i aint defending the bloke either.he has to go

Depends what his goal bonus is like!

Dougie said he would stay!
Which is nice. Suprising.
Good interview all round.
Thank you.
It's a shame we couldn't have more of that earlier in the season, instead of the usual shit in the paper. It was a good interview and I do hope he stays on.

Even if Dougie does get a nice offer from a higher club then his attitude in the two interviews this last week has been spot on. He's handled himself well, unlike certain big headed strikers looking for a quick January move that could be named.

I think that's fair enough, but there is nothing in this thread which isn't spot on from what I've seen and heard. Did you listen to the interview? It was an absolute joke - I had to laugh otherwise I would be going spare.

For you maybe. This Club is part of me and makes me what I am. Whether I like it or not. That goes way, way beyond being a hobby.

Indeed. He's too good for that and I don't begrudge him moving on.

I am convinced, after that interview, that Hart has been offered the Director of Football role. Regardless of whether he is the manager or DOF he would not have made the decisions to let O'Brien or Dossevi go if he were not to be involved. He wants the managers job but my gut reaction is that he has been offered the DOF role. Therin lies his decision.
Either way he should fuck off!
Perhaps somebody could find the white line painter again!!!
