Let's just hope he finds the net a few times for us this season.

Would be nice.

But I don't think that's what he's been bought here for.

He's been bought here to hold the ball up to bring the other forwards into play and to be physical etc. I know, however a few goals wouldn't go a miss in our predicament.  Grin

Mr. Hart certainly seems to have a plan. Let's hope it isn't too late.

More power to the engines Scotty

Folk seem quite optimistic about the Grella, Andrew partnership, fingers crossed it bears fruit

I sort of agree. However if we can keep the ball up the pitch more and with a player like Andrew it looks like we can, it can take the pressure off the defence more. For the majority of this season, we've been under pressure for long periods in games and the main reason for this was the lack of quality up front to hold the ball up. Saying that we still need to improve our defence, it might be a bit late for that now though. Who knows.

Not really. Wilson managed two back to back 0-0 at the end of Jan and we haven't conceded more than 1 at home for a while.

The acid test will come in the next 3 games, all away. We have continued to be concede left, right and centre  away.

We look better though imo and knocking the ball around at the back again.

Yeah a bewildering difference between home and away this season. You're guaranteed entertainment when we come to town as our away games have seen more goals than anyone else's this season, yet the CG has seen fewer goals than anywhere else!

Well that's true. We still don't seem to be carving too many clear cut opportunities though. Too many sideways, backwards and slow methodical passes.

Any improvement is welcome, and you can't fault Saturdays effort, but we look miles away from 'clicking' to me. Part of that is confidence I suppose but time has run out for gradual improvement.

Sorry to sound argumentative!
