They said it looked like 200+

i don't know whether to applaud their loyalty or pity their clearly dull lives.

I think today is the first time we have scored more than one goal in a match since Bournemouth away on 1st February.  Eek

That must be a record.

They were doing the conga and everything apparently.

Sounds like they had a grand day out.

I'd be inclined to stick with the loyalty bit

If you look at photo 16/20 on the OS gallery, it seems the game suddenly switched to the County Ground.

Hats off to all that went.

Nice to finish with a win however fruitless.

I wangled a ticket with my mate on Wycombes staff and went and watched them gain promotion.

Southend pissed all over them for the first 15 minutes and scored a deserved goal and then Wycombe banished the nerves and won easy in the end.

Easton was alright....Barry Corr never played...although i did see him on the coach.

I hope i will be watching the same scenes at the County Ground next season.....it was quite a novelty to see a home side dominate and score more than one goal.

Southend fans in fancy dress came on the pitch at the end and sat in the centre circle.....i dont know why but it was worth seeing.

On current value we would of probably got a draw against Southend (Corr not playing) BUT....Wycombe would of murdered us.

Big rebuild in the Summer.............sigh...

Did anyone actually go to Tranmere? No one's posted who's been there. Is that a first?

Yeah, we made the trek up...the crowd were in good voice and out sung the very quiet tranmere fans....Not a lot to report really...Miles Storey looks good and seems to have a fair bit of pace.

There were a number of Snow Whites with gland troubles.....

Not posted on here for bloody ages, mainly because I couldnt be arsed during Paul Hart's tenure sapping the enthusiasm out of everything.

Anyway, I alongside a couple of others made the trip to Tranmere at the weekend and can say that it was possibly one of the most enjoyable away trips of the season. Not sure how seriously Tranmere were treating the game but it was a pleasure to see a Swindon team passing the ball around without fear and the likes of Ferry and Timlin getting stuck in. It was a joy to behold seeing Lecs smash in the opener from 6 yards, he is lethal from that range! Timlin's goal was excellent and even got applause from the scousers which added to the pre-season feel of the game.

Overall, a decent way to say cheerio to an utterly shit season. Really enjoyed the banter between the Town fans and Phil Smith who especially loved the fact that Town were winning 1-0.

Does anyone know why Tony Warner was being an absolute knobjockey in the second half?
