Borussia Monchengladbach are letting fans buy life size cutouts of themselves which the club will place in the stands.

That's Elliot de Paul Benyon to you.

Was it Samdy who reverted it all or am I bearing a mild grudge unnecessarily?

It was samdy. I also still hold a grudge.

Fantastic seeing George Alagiah back presenting the news after 2 bouts of bowel cancer and a 'mild dose' of Coronavirus.

Yep.

There's 2-3 that keep on trying to get bites but with little success.

I've just learnt I've got broadband and I'm not paying line rental.

Moving between providers I'm guessing someone forgot to port the phone line correctly and it's ended up in some kind of digital-no-man's-land (with no provider) yet all is working without issue.

Think I'm going to have to keep my mouth shut on this and see how long it lasts (I'm 6 months in).

Had this with Thames Water when we moved.
Despite about 12 phone calls they never sorted it, so left it.

Two and a half years without a bill. When they eventually sorted it they read the meter and started billing from then...

I have a sponsored Facebook ad for... Dale Vince. Like, one of those public figure pages they generate from Wikipedia.

Nobody but Dale Vince himself is paying to promote that, right?

Facebook let’s you see when a page is running ads, just had a quick look and Dale Vince’s page is currently running adverts. So yes, yes he is paying to promote himself.

Promoting a business is fine. But directly promoting yourself (unless a musician or something) is incredibly narcissistic. Especially when the person in question already has an "established" profile.
