Just noticed that there are going to be direct train services from Swindon to Birmingham.

Good news. No more changing at Cheltenham or Bristol or Didcot Krapways.

Knocks 30 minutes off the journey times to and from Burslem.  Smiley

Downside is that it's Crosscuntry Trains operating the service.  Sad
