and also although the stats on the packet may be similar, the wholemeal takes longer to digest because of this. That means less of a hit of carbs and less excess getting turned to fat.
Small price to pay. We can live with it. I must add that the Aldi range of village bakery breads are rather nice and satisfying over the pap that mainstream bread suppliers provide.

If you're going to use terms like "snowflake" you have to call the major bakeries the MSBS as well

Practice. Other than that I roll my thumb forward while rolling my index and middle finger back the opposite way. It also helps when you crack the egg to break the shell sufficiently to facilitate the separation of both halves when using the finger motion I described. If you’re a spin bowler this should be a cinch.
