My mate came down with pancreatitis 4 weeks ago and had kidney failure with 3 weeks in the GW Hospital in Swindon.

This meant he had to cancel his winter holiday he had booked, so, fortunately, he wasn't in Berlin Winter Market yesterday as he and his wife had planned to be.

Drove an 18 tonne truck today for the first time this morning, around and through Devizes as part of an assessment to see whether I'll need extra training on top of the 5 day course with WTTL. Thoroughly enjoyed it, a proper eye-opening experience, glad to say the guy reckons I'll be fine, just need to be more confident in my actions. Theory and hazard perception tests on Friday morning, as well as the first module of my CPC course. Busy, but fun Cheesy

Bristol City and Bristol Rugby have matching advertising boards at Bristol Temple Meads.

The slogan on both is 'Pride, Passion, something'

For the rugby it's 'Premiership' which keeps the p pattern going. Unfortunately City have to settle for 'drama'.

I did tell you it was trivial.

The egg chasers may have opted for "piss poor" given their perfect P 10 L 10 record.

Probably should go in the other thread but it's that fucking crazy you can't help but smile.

So the Germans are looking for a terrorist and have published a photo of the man they want, they have had to blur out the photo though due to their privacy laws.

The world is a fucking weird place these days

To be fair though, could you imagine if his name was plastered all over the newspapers and he turned out to be innocent.

At the risk of being whooshed, they have released the name of a man they are looking for from some id documents they found in the lorry. Which definitely won't be fake.

It's not completely blurred, just the eyes blanked or pixellated. Still a little odd, I'll grant you

He's also apparently from Tataouine. So they're presumably looking for a rogue Jedi?
