You at least do some exercise by getting to work in the first place. I don't even do that.
I walk to the car. Its tough in the winter months.

My fat phase was when I was 13 and a half stone. I weigh just under 11 now. I don't know why or how I lost the weight.
I've got 36" waist trousers, but I'm now a 32. Don't have a pair I can't wear without a belt. Distressing.

Sat out at the back of the cottage we're renting for a week in the middle of nowhere in western France. Knocking back a bottle of the local brew (Saumur), boys playing further out the back, and several chapters in to my latest Kurt Vonnegut novel. At some point (Sunday) it's going to end, but I couldn't be happier right now. Fucking love France.

I got around to watching that Masters of Mayhem about the honey badgers a couple of months ago, they're amazing creatures. Was chuffed to see them at Howletts in Kent, spent ages watching them

Im shit at handy work and diy stuff so im pretty damn chuffed with myself for fixing our oven today.
Would have cost me over 100 quid to get someone do it for me but thanks to the honesty of the chaps in graces it cost me 3 quid for the part and replaced it myself.

Cat's Cradle.
Superb book. Probably the one which really got me into him. So many wonderful ideas thrown in and wrapped up in a fun plot.

Cat's Cradle.
I read KV's oeuvre years ago, and loved it. I suppose it's only to be expected, but you remember very little about them years later, apart from some obvious stuff like ice-nine. Somehow, re-reading favourite books again will work for the odd book like LotR, but not for KV, because like Winston Niles Rumfoord, you become chrono-synclastic infundibulated.
