I had some well spicy curry earlier and now it feels as though I'm pissing out molten lava.

Ouch.

Brendan Rodgers apparent blinding faith that buying loads of strikers will improve on last season when the defence remains terrible... It's like Kevin Keegan at his finest!

Indeed. Striker who thrives on crosses joins team who doesn't cross the ball.

Seeing a BMW driver reverse the wrong way up a one way street straight into a van. No damage to the van, rear end of the beemer caved in.

Pissed myself laughing and when the bmw driver asked what i was laughing at, my response of 'you mate' didnt go down very well

Watching residents of West Oxfordshire towns and villages (Chipping Norton etc) revolt against changes and updates/expansions of their community despite the fact it adds more facilities and benefits...

If they didn't want expansion they shouldn't have had so many children!

The Premier Inn where the old abandoned hospital/old people's home is. People have boycotted it because "The roof is slightly too high" in the plans.

A slightly high roof as opposed to the horror story sitting there now? What?

Really?

Place is full of sanctimonious old cunts who lived in the city. Does my head in.

Yeah... I work as part of a sort of local business committee, and the Caffé Nero appearance caused a massive stir - I still see posters on shop windows slandering it.

I await the backlash of the co-op refurb. I can see the butchers, fishmongers and deli owners sharpening their carving/filleting/cheese knives.

I actually find it quite amusing though.

Me too. I remember the stink they all kicked up about Sainsburys wanting to build a superstore.

Nutters.

You've got to love that Oxfordshire Passive Aggressiveness.

I wore my Town shirt to a wear red day when I worked at a store and apparently served some Oxford fans, and rather than say anything to me directly about it, they skulked off down the Kings and quietly complained to each other about it.

Sums up the area quite well really.  Grin

The Lido - yes it is. I've been doing some stuff down there as part of a business project, supposedly it's meant to be like Chipping Norton's answer to a beach, never swam in it myself.

On a side note, we had David Cameron in to do a chat/video interview about how he loved to visit - even though he mispronounced the name of it.    Roll Eyes

Also Jeremy Clarkson drove a Rolls Royce into it.
