I wouldn't worry too much, the Adver's efforts at this kind of thing are usually more successful at (and aimed at) promoting the Adver to fans than generating any kind of enthusiasm for the club among Adver-reading non-fans. But if the various efforts in the Adver, on facebook etc do manage to get some of the stayaways back will this add to the pressure of the dreadful reality of going ahead?

I assumed its because we were playing franchise. Which in itself raises an issue on the "don" status.
Quite. Not so much #NotYetDon as #NeverBeenDons

The Adver trying to equate 66/67 to this season is frankly ludicrous. Yes with 11 games to go we were just in the bottom 4, but this was a side that got to the 5th round of the FA Cup, beating WC player laden WHU, and taking 2nd in the top flight Forest to a 2nd replay.
The downside of the cup run was a poor trot of results in Jan/Feb when the cup games happened, and postponements which left us having 3 or so games in hand on teams around us. Once the decks were clear we won 9 of the last 11, so were never really in major trouble.
For the current lot to dig themselves out would be unprecedented...

TBF the Adver trying to write as if English is their first language is usually pretty ludicrous. Anything beyond that is a bonus

People who cannot navigate the vastly improved Greenbridge roundabout correctly. The lane markings and signs are crystal clear yet idiots still cut across lanes. The problem is they treat it like the old layout and are too stupid-blind to change from that

That roundabout is worse. It causes congestion when before it was free flowing.

Roundabout's are beginning to take-off in the USA now - I have 5 within 2 miles of me, makes it feel a little like home. Drivers struggle with who has to give way, which is fun to watch, but means you have to be careful on approach.

Agree 100%. Found myself coming back into Swindon around 3am one morning and pretty much got held up on this roundabout at every section on a red light, despite me being the only vehicle present. Rediculous .

The lack of roundabouts is what makes LA hell (among countless other things). Mile upon mile of straight roads with traffic lights on intersections every 300 yards...grrr... So hopefully Americans adopting them is a belated welcome improvement.

You obey lights on an empty roundabout at 3am?!

LA is so big you need a car to get about but ironically it's actually quicker to walk.
