I could eat Marmite from the jar with a tea spoon. When I say could, I mean have. Also eaten the odd oxo cube.

Go on Batch, you haven't told us about the time you lived in a flat with The Young Ones before?

Love marmite, and Bovril, and scoffed a fair few oxo cubes.

Fun fact: most people don't seem to know that the foil oxo cube wrappers are actually designed so that you can crumble the cube in the wrapper before even opening it?

To be fair I am the fussiest eater in the world

Are you sure?  I know a lady, who suffers OCD, who as far as I can ascertain eats nothing but beans on toast.  I've yet to ask if the beans have to be Heinz or, if Crosse and Blackwell etc are OK. She definitely hates Marmite

Their house was more luxurious. That's Swansea for you though.

OK, the fussiest eater who doesn't have a related mental illness!
I hate:
Potatoes, beef, pork, lamb, fish, seafood, pepper, peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, nuts, there are many others.

You'd be really fun to take out on a first date.

I call it fussy.

I'm a fussy eater also. Some days I eat nothing but cereal because there's nothing else I want to eat, it's actually something that I need to address.

Anyway, it doesn't help when I order a Tom-Yam which is one of my favourites, or at least it was until I was served a Tom-Yam once and found this in it:

That's another meal off the menu for me for a while.

Wow, I thought my wife was fussy, she won't eat anything remotely spicy, including anything with the word chilli or pepper in it. Doesn't eat rice, pasta, curry, pies/pastries.

The only thing I won't eat is peanut butter

It is fussy but I try not to BE fussy about it, if that makes sense. I know it's my problem; no one else's. I'm not one of these people who will have a meal cooked for them and then say "oh no I don't eat that." That's fucking rude IMO.

I'm with you on lamb & fish (and a lot of other seafood), onions, cauliflower, sprouts, museli. A lot of the time it is textures as opposed to taste.

Definitely texture plays a huge part, hence the whole trifle thing. The whole wet stuff at the bottom - might as well be sucking sherry off a flannel (again, make your own euphemisms.) Seafood has to be the worst for it, how Oysters are ever considers a delicacy I'll never know.

Never actually tried oysters, mainly because they were described to me once as like large, salty bogies.
