FA Cup though, and he knew we were going to play in white at home so wasn't going to be there.... still plans change, and I await the tannoy announcement on Saturday.

I had one of those....sprog dropped about 4 hours before a Rovers night game at home, just gave me time, to ring various interested parties, have an hours kip and head out for some pre match head wetting.

I was well chuffed as friends organised it, I had no idea....

Had a loud squealing coming from one of the wheels on my drive home. Jacked the car up when I got home and found that the brake is partially seized.

At best the caliper just needs stripping down and cleaning, at worst I'll need a new caliper and a new set of front pads.

If it's not one thing it's a-fucking-nother with this car.

And to think I bought a Vauxhall because I thought it would be more reliable. I actually spent less on my Peugeot which I owned for longer  Roll Eyes

My current dilemma also. Boilers are cunts.

Agreed, only moved in last year, bolier is 13/14 years old, its bound to go sooner or later so may as well do it now.

The £2600 is for a Valiant, power flush and 2 new rads - British Gas quoted me £3600 for a cheaper boiler and that includes £400 trade in. Wankers.

Mines about the same age. Choice is a £300 fix for the current problem, doesn't mean something else might go wrong though, or 2k for a new boiler. Marvellous.
