Have you ever met anyone, who's been a "we asked one hundred people,"  contributor. No nor have I. Do they actually exist?

Good point.  Do they send someone out on the street asking random questions?  Perhaps they do it in tandem with Family Fortunes!

Apparently it's all done anonymously via t'internet. They don't even know what programme their answers are destined for.

My neighbours have had water streaming out of an overflow pipe since yesterday morning. They must be aware of it and have a water meter yet have done nothing about it. Lunacy!

Nope. Although along similar lines I was interviewed by a guy from the Office of National Statistics yesterday. Turns out they use a random postcode selector, then interview people to get their stats on employment, income, education etc. Who knew.

The quiz ones are done by online survey things you have to sign up to.

no they were in. I was fixed late yesterday afternoon. Was like a running tap for around 40 hours. Their money wasted I suppose.

40 hours to get a plumber anywhere near your house, sounds pretty fast to me.

Horse racing.  And the Grand National, in particular.

If horse racing is so great, take the betting aspect away for 12 months and see how the sport gets on.

It would wither and die.  Because no one cares about horse racing really.  It's all about the gamble, and the ££.  I've never liked horse racing.
