Good God! Obika? Really? Sick note for starters.
I thought Obikas injuries were tactical injuries? he didn't want to play for Williams any more?

Won't happen anyway.

I'm already bored with the close season. Why haven't we signed anyone yet, left over freebies bla bla bla. No investment in the team back to back relegations. Can we get Obika back to lead the line?

We're in much better shape than a year ago, when it was about now (maybe 3rd 4th or 5th) that Flitcroft was appointed, we had few players and no pre-season planned.

One of his first comments was that the Swindon Way was being scrunched up and tossed into the waste paper basket.

Interestingly another early comment was that he likes to try and win games.  On the surface seemingly obvious, but the fact that we seemed either to win or lose with few draws may have been what he meant.

PB seems to like a draw, maybe subscribes to the Luke doctrine that 3 draws is worth a win.

So even though we needed players, it wasn't until the 23rd that we picked up Chris Robertson and about 3 days later James Dunne, so given that PB isn't under so much pressure for signings, I'd imagine we won't see much movement until the end of the month.

I don’t think the first friendly game is back end of July. Players are on hols. No doubt some offers are in.

Keep calm and go on holiday
OK, that's a good idea, then when I come back in 2 weeks time the new squad will be assembled.

That’s what I’m planning on doing.

I’m off to Kefalonia next week for 2 weeks. If there’s no incomings by the time I get back I’ll join you in the panic stakes

My oxford supporting mate reckons he is fucking shit and one of the worst strikers they have had in years. He’s seen some shite to be fair

Oh how i laughed when he told me his response

He's not shit. He's a fucking sick note, and a bottler, and a coward, and a traitor, and a piss stained scum fuck. But he's not shit.

Was it Obika who had that great photo of his arms folded during a free kick where everyone else was shielding their bollocks?

If it isn't this post looks weird, but hopefully someone knows what I'm on about.

Obika will end up with Gary Johnson signing him for about the 14th time at Cheltenham soon I am sure, he loved him when he was ay Yeovil.

Apparently, there is supposed to be a ‘big’ L2 signing today.

In the absence of any STFC rumours, let’s pretend it’s us.

It will be Tisdale to MKD.
