Of course, it's a weird thing how with approximately 11 games to go last season, all it needed was for Matty Taylor to "take the shackles off " and we'd be flying as Flitcroft was retarding them. 11 games later they're all shit and need getting rid of.
I'm not sure what happened in between....
Even weirder that, with 20-odd games to go, we were in apparent danger of relegation... and ended up finishing 9th.

You tried this one before, unsuccessfully despite misquotation. I don't mind having my musings questioned, but at least be accurate.

You clearly suggested a danger of relegation in December ‘unless Flitcroft turns it around’, or words to that effect. How broad do you want your (inevitably boring) caveat to be? Perhaps Man City will go down next year, unless Guardiola manages them to 40 or more points. I’m not going to go trawling through the archives once again to call you out. If you’re too arrogant / dim to acknowledge your failings, that is to your own detriment. I note, on the other hand, that it’s alright for you to make some generic comment about other people being wrong, without quoting anything.

it may be being professionally handled, but the lack of stfc related rumours is dull!
suppose there was that striker whose name I've forgotten...

I think he will get a club in L1. I thought all (non temporary) football contracts ran to 30th June as standard?

According to Bury his loan ended 31.5.2018 and he is out of contract. He got slated at Bury who finished rock bottom so his stock must have fallen.
Anyway, in a year he’d be promoted to L1 with us!

I hope he does. Apparently his contract expires 30th June as do almost all full time football contracts, all season long loans expire 31st May. Contracts run from 1st July to 30th June. I would have him here.

Wouldn't mind Theo Robinson back but not believing any "gentleman's agreement" I want a scarf over the head this time The striker Batch is actually thinking of is Boreham Wood player Ferrier (water boy). On second thoughts, I wonder if he likes high end bespoke watches?

I'm already bored with the close season. Why haven't we signed anyone yet, left over freebies bla bla bla. No investment in the team back to back relegations. Can we get Obika back to lead the line?

Good God! Obika? Really? Sick note for starters.
I don’t think the first friendly game is back end of July. Players are on hols. No doubt some offers are in.
Keep calm and go on holiday
