On thisis someone has stated that the club are in negotiations with a previous midfielder. Unsure who he is or if the comment of "if the money is right" is wages or a fee involved. Can anyone shed any light on it?

Ince would be superb but can't see him dropping to L2 but if it happened what a superb signing that would be and we would dominate this league if it happened.

I'd enjoy a cynical little smile if it was Ben Gladwin on loan... again.

That would be an amazing signing.

I'm surprised Ince hasn't been signed already by another L1 team if he's as good as we seem to think. Maybe there's something turning clubs off? Injuries? Attitude? Something else?

I read that Ince had been training with City. At the very least, you'd expect him to wait until deadline day and use us, the L2 (and L2 wages) option, as his backup plan. Can't imagine there won't be a club in L1 that doesn't want someone like him. If we get him - that would be quite a coup!

Gladwin was no where near fit for us last season and was pretty useless but a fit gladwin is a good player but I do think with him it went to his head a bit when he went to QPR and his period with us I got the feeling he felt he was too good for us. With Thomas going to India and Rodgers without a club and other players going abroad that no one else wanted from us just shows how crap our side was last season.

It's easy to assume moving to a bigger club goes to somebody's head, or that they think they're too good for us. It could just as easily have been fitness, form, the formation, the coaching, his diet, his personal life or any number of other things. Why do we always blame attitude?

Someone claimed we were looking at Jonathan Douglas so it's probably just that rumour. Wouldn't really want him back as he was part of the poisonous Leeds mafia last time he was here.

No thank you. He makes Darren Ward look pacey these days
