Here is the press conference live blog from the Adver.

1:41pm
ON FIXTURES

RW said he would like to play these top teams with his strongest team.

Said the fixture list is not very inventive, and would like to see some more variety.

1:40pm
Ralph Graham has been labelled as the new ginger Pele by his teammates.

RW says nickname has been passed along.

1:39pm
ON BREAK

RW said break did the players good, both mentally and physically.

'Sometimes, a break from seeing each other can be a blessing'

1:38pm
ON CADDIS

Something will be released soon. Caddis deal is all agreed and will be an 18-month deal.

1:37pm
ON GRANT

RW wants to get Grant back in midfield, but was delighted to take four points from last two games.

1:36pm
BBC Wilts asked RW whether the club are making active moves to sign Doyle back.

There was a long pause before a smirk and another "let's just see what happens".

1:34pm
RW ON DOYLE BEING RECALLED

RW said he knew it was happening earlier this week. He will go back now and 'we will see what happens now'.

On prospects of getting him back: "We'll see. See how the next week develops."

1:30pm
I have arrived at the County Ground in the fridge-like Lou Macari suite.

Richie Wellens is here...

What was the context to this, how does Wellens expect there to be more variety in the fixture list?

Yep, was wondering the same. What does he want exactly? Unless he was referring to the fact we play all the top teams in the most unsettled period of the year, whereas (for instance) Bradford's tricky run comes in April

Just tough titty that. When the fixture list comes out nobody knows who’s going to be up there and who’s not.

To be fair, I was also a bit disappointed in the lack of imagination when the fixture list came out. Oldham? Scunthorpe?  Really?

Where are the Flamengos and Fenerbahces to get the pulse racing a bit?

I must confess my first thought was if he wants more variety in the fixture list, get us promoted then!

Presumably he's talking about a run of Newport, Bradford, Plymouth and Crewe earlier in the season, and a run of Plymouth, Bradford, Crewe and Newport now.

I'd guess that's more to do with probability and trying to have a gap between home and away fixtures, but then I don't know how they come up with the fixture list.

A Reading fan I know who is reasonably well connected (well according to him, although he did tell me about Ben House) has said both us and Hibs have bid for McNulty. He's about to leave Sunderland as Parkinson doesn't rate him and he's not in Reading plans either.

Think it's hugely unlikely as I imagine he'll much rather be either in Scotland or in a higher division.

Hibs would be likely, played in their youth team and on loan there last year.

I still think that McNulty was a name leaked (probably by the club) to show Bradford that Town are looking around.

From the Plymouth local rag

‘Reports suggest that Pitman's preference would be a move to Swindon for logistical reasons and with Doyle returning to his parent club, that may well happen now.’
