No coincidence that McNulty and Pitman's names have emerged in the press at this stage.

Town playing this about right.

I wondered that.

Has it always been that way or has it changed recently?

Might be worth nipping down to the training ground later this week to see if there are any new faces.

Pitman holds the ball up well and can score goals but he is PAINFULLY slow. If McNulty is on the cards I'd rather have him but doubt we can get him permanently.

McNulty gets a lot of his goals from penalties I noticed, 15 of his 90 goals have been penalties.

I would be happy with either TBH if we had to replace Doyle, or even Danny Hylton who is on Plymouths radar too.

I'm sure the Doyle situation will be resolved in next few days.

I'd be surprised if he is recalled though, he clearly does not want to return so will not want to be there, will not fit into their style of play, so they run the risk of an unhappy player around the squad that is probably fairly happy with how they are doing....will they risk it ?

The can't cancel the loan I would not have thought and then arrange a new loan with us paying more as a season long loan was agreed, so surely the only option is to leave him here, recall with the intention of giving him a run or sell him to us.

Interesting though that the loan has a confidentiality clause, that is not common that you have to wonder if there is something in there Bradford don't want getting out
