Lancashire is a wierd one, in some games he has looked a total liability and lost but in others hes been far and away our best defender.
He needs consistancy in his game and he could be like a new signing. His form seemed to pick up when PB came in then he got the injury.
Injuries always take a toll... some can come back stronger, most fade away. We just don't know. MD when he came back from his appendectomy, looked a shadow of the previous player. Then you get a Gordon Greer, who looked just about finished when we took him on loan, as he'd been out for something like 18 months, but was still playing last season, albeit in Scotland

Let's wait til the scarf shot.... could be an agent playing STFC, in order to expedite a response from Oxford.
Not quite the scarf shot but the next best thing.

Not quite the scarf shot but the next best thing. Would make a good rugby kit. Not a fan of polo shirt collars on football kits (although hypocritically I quite liked the blue effort from a couple of seasons ago)

The last time I read somebody complain that a Town kit was more akin to a rugby effort (from the vote for your favourite template days) we ended up with this: Therefore I'm happy.

It's better than that, I'll grant you. Although that's more League than Union Tbh, I don't intend to buy or wear one anyway so I don't really give a shit. And it's better than this season's Forest Green Croatia effort.

Probably not the right place for this, but what sort of formation is Brown going to play to accommodate all those midfield/forward players.
Alzate, Doughty, ‘Dave’, Smith, McGlashan, Anderson, new striker, Adebayo, Woolery/Richards (when fit).
That’s 10 for 6 spots if playing 442. Seems pretty strong to me.
Anyway, I’ll be true to my word and get on down to the ticket office for a couple of STs It appears as if we are taking it seriously this season.

Brown said the other day in an ideal world he wants 2 for every position plus 3 covering in a squad of 25. If you add Dunne and Iandolo to that then we have the 12 (subject to a forward) for the front 6. Its been 4-3-3 all pre season as well.

I wonder if we'll not have a go to formation, you'd think once CBs and forwards are all fit/signed we'd have the perfect recipe for 352 but then what do you do with Anderson, Woolery and McGlashan? At the moment it looks like 433 but once we have more in we could go 442, especially with a diamond, again though that leaves those three mentioned earlier out of favour. Great to have those options on the bench though.
