Bennett has 18 months left on his contract with Rovers - that’s about another £350,000 of wages for a player they don’t play.
They need to pay him off.

I consistently refuse to believe forum and twitter statements of what players earn. I suspect footballers are like most of us - the only people who really know are themselves, their spouses, employers and (in the case of players) their agents. Football Manager 2020 is not factual.

It’s stuff like this that shows why we shouldn’t ‘go for broke’ to get promoted, it can soon come back and haunt you.

Incoming today according to Wellens.
A ‘forward thinking’ player, apparently. Probably Pett who has been mooted.

Don’t get too excited - that interview was from after the game Saturday.

A Bradford fan on twitter has said he heard Doyle is coming back. No idea who he is or how reliable he is, but he has rather a lot of people excited.
Mrs Doyle makes a post saying 'bs'. Which also has rather a lot of people in a tizz. Some are convinced it means Doyle is not coming back after all, and others are trying to read cryptic clues into it.
Her comment wasn't even a reply to the Doyle rumour; it was a stand-alone comment. It could be just about ANYTHING, yet the poor girl gets bombarded with messages from town fans.

I guess if true (and we don't hear anything today), then he wouldn't be in the Bradford squad tonight. But I bet he is!

Well, if anyone can come up with what ‘bs’ stands for apart from bullshit . . .

I am inclined to think she does mean bullshit. But the point is that she was not replying to the Doyle rumour thread. I expect there's other things going on in her life other than her husband's football career. I'm not going to try to read anything into it either way, I'm just amused at all those that are. I remember once when Vigoroux said something on twitter that had a load of people upset that he was leaving. Turned out he as just going away for a weekend (or something like that).

My wife is Irish and uses the expression 'bs' a lot. It almost certainly means bullshit.
What that says about me however!!
