This is what needs to happen though! We need a striker to come in. I dont want to wait until 31st Jan theres another 6 points we need and momentum can be lost, bradford have shown no indication that we could have him back, wellens knew the week before recall he was going back. The window has been open 3 weeks. We needed another striker before he went back. I know they are a luxury but there must be goalscorers out there or forward to play along side yates |

Based on no information whatsoever, I am pretty confident that we will sign Doyle permanently, but it won't be until the last day of the Window, and probably late enough so that he can't play the following day.

We do need another striker/attacking player to give us those extra options up front, give us a bit of forward momentum and as you say 6 points at stake so get somebody in sooner rather than at the end of the window....if thats possible....Doyle or not we need extra bodies.
Saturday will be a very different type of game to Newport, I think even with a full compliment of players we would have struggled to get anything from that game as I said straight after the game.
Get the ball down and play our natural game and we can easily beat Port Vale, they can't match us footballing wise when we are on song.
Wellens has said he hopes to get a face or 2 in, 1 being an attacking option, I would not be too shocked if it was Bennett again.
