Went out with Mrs Audrey on Xmas Eve for a few bevvies. During the course of the evening I agreed, jokingly, to go to ballroom dancing lessons with her in the New Year.
She’s only gone and paid £55 each for a course starting next week.

If you're really lucky they'll be every Saturday at 3pm

When I was at school... well in the 6th form, ballroom dancing lessons were part of the curriculum, outside of A levels. It was considered important that a young chap, should understand the etiquette of how to conduct himself in polite society, with the opposite gender. A very long time ago now mind, and society unbeknown to me at the time, was about to take a 60's seismic shift. However I do believe that terpsichorean activity is popular on the TV nowadays, along with cake making.

My wife bought fine Branston instead of chunky. I had might as well just start divorce proceedings now.

Putting the bins/recycling/etc out in a force whatever the fuck it is gale, only to realise I'd been confused by Christmas and so having to get dressed again (this was some time later, I don't as a matter of habit undress after putting the bins out) to retrieve the bastard things before they wound up half way to Marlborough. I'm very much riding on the "trivial" bit here, you understand.

When a fit bird at works walks by and says "hey, how are you" to which i reply "i'm good, you?". I'm then greeted with a blank look and the realisation she's talking on the phone...... What a tit.
