If Doyle and Yates are not signed on, ex Town target Omar Bogle has been released by Cardiff City, might be worth a punt even though he has never reproduced his Grimsby scoring record.

Rumour or fact?
Can't see anything being fact until there is clarity over the season start date, stadium capacity, salary caps and ultimately budgets.   It's a rumours thread and that seems a fair price with add-ons to me

Rumour or fact?

Name that thread?  Wink

Although I have definitely been in contact with his Dad, Barry. Via some loosely connected Carlisle Utd forum member from his previous loan spell, who spoke to one of the Carlisle Utd reserves sister once, after a match. They had once spoken to Hallam Hope and mentioned something about Yates, so take from that what you will  Soapy Tit Wank

According to Alan Nixon. What is his success rate like when it comes to rumours?

Not bad. Keshi is also now following David Dunn, Blackpool Assistant Manager, on Twitter.

I am not sure how teams can sign players when the decision has not been finalised regards  a wage cap.

No point in lots of signings only to find you’ve breached the cap surely

Sign them up now, before the cap, and have a season to fall in line. Any cap will be phased in. Sunderland’s budget last season was £15m - no way they can comply with a cap with players already under contract.

ah well, it's a shame but what will be  will be.

Was really quite good until injuries hit his season. Playing with better players he was really starting to deliver.

But before that delivered very little, so there was always a danger of reverting to type.

Sign DJ as his replacement and I’ll be well happy. Be sorry to see him go, but he’s been here a while now and always seems to need a rocket up his arse every now and again. Wellens put him on the list before last season.

Anderson rumour comes from Alan Nixon who has a reasonable strike rate but certainly not 100%

Sometimes this stuff circulates via agents trying to get their clients an extra few quid.

We shall see.

He's just said his goodbyes on twitter, so looks like he's off.
