If you read leftsides post it's clearly tongue in cheek, and not posted as gospel.

Trialist not signed for fitness issues? Why give him a trial then? Fobbed off with more bullshit. Smoke screen. We have bigger issues trying to make the whole squad work...

Williams contradicted himself, he said they couldn't agree terms then he said they didn't sign him because he wasn't match fit and we had too many player getting back to fitness...

Way I see it, if you're looking to sign a trialist you do it based on ability. They aren't going to cost you anything, you're looking to pick a gem and help develop them. In the development stage, fitness can be caught up easily. Gladwin wasn't very fit when we first signed him, obvious he had a lot of ability though.

Depends who it was. Everyone forgets about all the add ons etc. What if whoever wanted 250k signing on? You're not going to want to pay that in the first instance, or piss the other players off for the sake of disruption. It's not as cut and dried as most think.

Lambert as in Rickie?! Yeah fuck the right off. If you are going to post shit, at least post beleiveable shit.
Jeez, don't shoot the messenger! You obviously couldn't read the tone of the post. To make it absolutely clear for you, I don't believe it either.

Lambert is under contract at Cardiff and is playing for them so was quite clearly BS.

Our development side have a game tomorrow, perhaps we'll have another exciting triallist or two in the game.

Too unfit apparently.
And the fact that we have too many unfit players already in the team.

He must have been seriously unfit. Does make you wonder just how badly some of these out of contract players want a deal when they arrive in such poor shape. You can't do anything about being a bit rusty but getting yourself fit and ready for a trial surely isn't difficult?

He did score 2 in said trial as well as playing the full 90 so couldn't have been that unfit or rusty.
