Often luck of the draw with who the brands take to, and who they don't but he's a perfect storm... World Champion at 15, Olympian at 14 and a huge home favourite (and over-publicised by brands) ahead of a home Games.

And (to some people apparently), hugely attractive.

The marketing/branding of 'Team GB' is starting to get on my nerves.

My wife made exactly the same point yesterday.  Could not agree more.

Me too ardiles.while on the subject of bbc coverage, can we just assume that any medal winner's family are "extremely proud" ,that any medal"makes getting up at 5am in the freezing cold worthwhile" and that "all the hard work" has paid off.

BBC essentially play the role proud parent on Sports Day. It's a little OTT at times.

More importantly, why do some people feel the need to iron them? What is the actual point?!

House buying.  And people.   So we accepted an offer back in April.  Put in an offer on a house got accepted, then the survey came up with some issues we ended up renegotiating.  It was all due to go through on the 31st July with a moving date a week later when some shit came up at the bottom of a small chain.

The issue basically being that the person to approve monies was out of his office until today.

We've been getting increasingly tetchy and on Tuesday the person we were buying from said he didnt want to sell to us anymore.  We said fair enough your decision but it could be that we are in place by Friday.

Today we're in place and exchanging Monday to complete and move Friday.

Cunty bollocks now refuses to sell to us as if we've done something wrong.  So we've spunked money on survey and searches etc etc and got no place to go.  Going on selling but now having to look at rented.

In the meantime the new purchaser of the house we wanted estate agent has asked if they can buy our searches.  Guess what, they can go fuck em selves.  If its going to hold up the cunt who has cost us and left us without a house then no sodding way are we making it easy for them.

Hope it falls through several times and then burns down.

The joys of England. We need to adopt Scotland's house buying solution.

That would sort it all out and reduce time wasters.
