I think that my initial response (and attempt to clarify) were a touch too subtle. I was attempting to imply that Modou Barrow was such a common name that it was probably another one who was related to 'Will Barrow'.
This is why I don't post that often.

Peterborough after Michael Smith. Palace also apparently interested.
Fuck off.

Three weeks until that Transfer Window ends.
Surely, we'll lose at least one of our senior players in the three weeks before August is out?
Grrrr

Are you sure you've got the right Michael Smith? Posh have been linked to a Brizzle Rovers player of the same name

Darragh's just denied it on Twitter so looks like it's just some paper talk (despite Sam reporting he'd heard differently).

Darragh denies everything though.
If we need to sell one of Luongo, Kasim, Smith, Wes or Nate to balance the books then thank you and goodbye Michael. I like him but he's the most replaceable of the players we have with a bit of value for me.

Totally disagree with that. Replacing potentially 20 goals a season is the hardest task in my opinion

Replacing a goal scorer is the hardest thing.
Much as I hate to say it, but the keeper is probably the simplest to replace.
Anyways,I can't see anybody leaving before the deadline

Here is a question worth raising. There is only 1 year age difference between Smith and Britt Assombalonga. Smith if I have worked this out right actually has a better football league goal scoring record. Why should there be a 5m valuation difference?

See, I'd normally agree with this but I just don't see Smith as a Parkin/Austin/Cox figure who scores goals that others wouldn't: he has a good scoring record for us, and I certainly don't want him to go, but our team now reminds me a bit of the Sturrock promotion season, not in style but in creating a lot of opportunities which most professional strikers should be able to finish. I think Roberts and Peacock got about 10-12 each that season? Obviously he'd need to be replaced but if it's even close to a 7 figure fee then that just seems like good business to me. Of course, if we don't actually need to sell then clearly that's preferable.
