Smith has got a good record for us and will get better. He had a pretty good game yesterday and it was good to see fans stand up and applaud as he was subbed. He may not get the 20 yarders but as long as it goes over the line it doesn't give much of a fuck how it goes in. He's gets into good positions and takes a decent penalty. For all the kicking he got yesterday he misplaced one pass. I didn't hear much moaning about him yesterday.

Not scoring 20 yards goals didn't do Lineker much harm.
It's his hold up play/touch that comes under scrutiny when he is the loan man up front.

If we need to sell one of Luongo, Kasim, Smith, Wes or Nate to balance the books then thank you and goodbye Michael. I like him but he's the most replaceable of the players we have with a bit of value for me.
My posh mate says if darragh denies it's generally no go, if he says no comment then it's on. They are signing James from Hartlepool i believe so take the Smith rumour with a pinch of salt. |

Here is a question worth raising. There is only 1 year age difference between Smith and Britt Assombalonga. Smith if I have worked this out right actually has a better football league goal scoring record. Why should there be a 5m valuation difference?

They all looked sharper, but then scunny did seem to be like help the aged. The fixtures in the first month are as kind as they can be so we should be in playoff zone at month end if we are gonna end up mid table and top two if in playoff hunt. Whilst not flush with money I am not sure the doom mongers are calling this right. We had a huge new inflatable on Stratton bank so must be well minted. Still expect Stephens assuming saints get cover and a striker. Some of that will come down to shifting ward, Harley off the payroll I suspect who are absent. Rodgers must of got injured signing autographs as didn't see him kick a ball |
